PEI’s Only International Car Show Returns July 7-11, 2010. 

Mark Your Calendars! The PEI International Motoring Festival is back July 7-11, 2010 and promises to provide even more diversity than the inaugural event. Last year’s participants will agree – this is no ordinary car show! From brand new Porsches and pristine old Mustangs, to antique British cars and exotic Lamborghinis, you will have it all at the IMF.

Charlottetown, April 27th 2010.- The PEI International Motoring Festival (IMF) is pleased to announce it has teamed up with the Cavendish Beach Music Festival (CBMF) to unite the Region’s top classic car and motorcycle enthusiasts with the World’s top country music stars - all on one exceptional Festival venue.

Celebrating the year of the Mustang and featuring the PEI Mustang Club, the PEI International Motoring Festival is back July 7-11, 2010 and promises to provide even more diversity than the inaugural event. This is no ordinary car show!  Porsches, Mustangs, Genuine Vintage, Trucks, Super Bikes, Motorcycles, American Muscle cars, Race cars, Lamborghinis, Lotus, Ford, BMW, GM… You will have it all at the International Motoring Festival!

During the festival, all CBMF spectators will have access to the IMF at no extra cost. Each of the first 300 accepted registrations will receive a free CBMF pass, a $270 value! Plus, the first 200 registered can obtain a second pass for only $135, a 50% saving off the regular price! Registration has already begun. The registered vehicles must be antiques, classics, collectibles or of particular interest and are subject to approval by the IMF selection and registration committee. $1,500 will be split between the People’s Choice Award and the Best of Show Award.

There will be more to see and do at the PEI International Motoring Festival. Whether you are a registered participant to the IMF or a spectator of the CBMF you will have access to some of the following activities:
Photo and autograph with Pro Stock racing drivers and team, radio control car racing on custom made track, model exposition and hobby show, Ford mechanic clinics, movies, line dancing, wash bay, BBQ diner for registered participants, judging and prize award ceremony, keynote speakers: Michel Le Chasseur, Tim Banks, Bernard Durand.
